RLX Construction is kicking off the new year with a significant refurbishment project at a local medical centre, focusing on enhancing its facilities to meet future needs of the centre. Our team has successfully completed the initial site set-up and the soft strip phase, which involved safely removing all non-structural elements to prepare the space for the next steps. The next phase will see the installation of new steelwork.
A Busy Year Ahead
This medical centre refurbishment is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a busy year for RLX Construction. With several new projects on the horizon across various sectors, we’re set to make 2026 a year of growth. From healthcare to education, and from commercial to industrial spaces, we’re looking forward to new opportunities.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Ward Refurbishment Update
One of our ongoing projects, a ward refurbishment for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, is also making great strides. We’ve made excellent progress with the demolition of finishes, and we’re now well into the installation of new electrical and mechanical infrastructure, which is a key part of the transformation. This phase is crucial, as it lays the foundation for modernising the hospital’s facilities to better serve patients and staff.
Our dedicated team is working alongside staff to ensure minimal disruption to the hospital’s daily operations. Every step is carefully planned to ensure patient care is never compromised, and we’re proud to be a part of this important project.
Exciting New Project with Local Manufacturing Castings Company
This month we visited a site where we’ve won a highly anticipated project for a local manufacturing castings company. This project is set to begin next month and will involve an interesting update to their facilities.
We’re excited about this collaboration and look forward to working closely with the company to meet their specific needs. This new partnership represents an exciting opportunity for both RLX and the company, and we’re looking forward to getting started.
