National Sixth Form College, Nottingham – Project Completion Announcement
We are proud to announce the successful completion of our National Sixth Form Centre new build project in Nottingham. The works involved excavating huge amounts of land to make way for a new sixth form building, the new space includes modernised teaching areas, state-of-the-art IT facilities, updated communal spaces, and improved landscaping across the site.
Our team worked collaboratively with school leadership, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the project was delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The revitalised environment will significantly enhance the student learning experience and provide a welcoming, future-ready space for both staff and students to thrive in the new academic year.

The Children’s Hospital Charity Golf Day
The RLX Construction Annual Charity Golf Day returned once again this year at the prestigious Hallamshire Golf Club, and we’re pleased to report another successful day of friendly competition, community spirit, and charitable giving.
Now a much-anticipated tradition on our calendar, this event raises essential funds for The Children’s Hospital Charity, which supports the incredible work of Sheffield Children’s Hospital. This year’s event saw a strong turnout of teams from across the construction industry, coming together to raise both awareness and vital donations for a cause that touches so many lives.
Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we raised a substantial sum that will go directly towards funding vital medical equipment, research, and family support services at the hospital.

Gainsborough School Extension – New Project Now Underway
We’re excited to announce the commencement of a new project at Marton Academy in Gainsborough, where work is now underway on a significant building extension aimed at improving educational facilities for the school community.
The project will include the construction of additional classrooms, resource areas, and flexible teaching spaces designed to accommodate the growing number of students and support modern teaching methods. Our scope of works also includes associated infrastructure upgrades, improvements to accessibility, and enhancements to the outdoor learning and play areas.
The extension is a direct response to increased enrolment and evolving educational requirements, and we’re proud to play a part in supporting the academy’s future. Our site team is currently in the initial groundworks and foundation stages, with completion targeted for mid-2026.
