Official Opening of Horatio’s Garden by HRH Princess Anne
This month was the official opening of Horatio’s Garden at the Princess Royal Spinal Injuries Centre in Sheffield, formally opened by HRH The Princess Royal Anne. The opening ceremony was attended by NHS staff, spinal injury patients, families, volunteers, and the wider project team. This was a particularly rewarding and memorable moment for all at RLX, after months of hard work from all involved.
Designed to provide a peaceful, accessible, and restorative outdoor space for patients and their families, the garden is a landmark addition to the hospital environment. RLX Construction are proud to deliver the complex landscape and infrastructure works, collaborating closely with designers, healthcare teams, and the Horatio’s Garden charity.
New Build Extension at Barnsley Hospital Nears Completion
Our Barnsley Hospital new extension project is entering its final phase. This new-build extension will provide new and improved facilities for Barnsley hospital education centre. Final decoration, M&E commissioning, and external landscaping are progressing with handover due.
Final Works at Nottingham Sixth Form College
The new academic term is just around the corner, and our project at Nottingham Sixth Form College is nearing final handover.
This modern education facility has been designed to accommodate an increasing student intake while offering inspiring and adaptable learning environments. Internal fit-out nearly complete and external works wrapping up, we are preparing for final inspections ahead of the college’s new academic year in September.
Completion of Second Factory Extension at Arden Winch
