RLX Construction kicked off a busy period of work across multiple academies in Lincoln, Leeds, and Newark scheduled during the school holidays ensuring minimal disruption to the academic calendar.

In Newark and Lincoln, we will undertake comprehensive fire compliance work, ensuring that the academies meet the latest safety standards. Over the course of the school holidays, we will install more than 140 fire doors, carry out extensive firestopping works, and upgrade fire alarm systems. Additionally, we will complete necessary decoration and finishing touches.

Meanwhile, in Leeds, we are embarking on a significant expansion and refurbishment project. We will be adding an internal structural steel extension to create several new teaching spaces, addressing the growing needs of the academy. The project also includes the refurbishment of existing classrooms. To further enhance the academy’s facilities, we will be installing glazed curtain walling, bringing modern design and increased natural light into the classroom spaces.
